Who is >mace<?
>mace< is a group of PC gamers who thoroughly enjoy online competition, both casual and organized. Playing FPS titles on the PC is typically our first love, but we have plenty of mistresses. You will find our members playing any number of games across several genres, including RTS titles, MMORPGs, and sports/racing games. Some of us also play online through Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.

Our membership traditionally consists of gamers over the age of 21, although >mace< has been known to make exceptions on a case by case basis. We do not discriminate based on anyone’s race, gender, religion, sexual preference, or beliefs. In order to become one of us, you must be accepted by the community as a whole. That and being good at clicking on heads with your mouse definitely helps.

Our Principles
To achieve success in the world of online gaming, we hold friendship, teamwork and cooperation paramount over everything else. While >mace< plays to win, friendship is just as important as victory. We love to win, of course, and we will do anything short of hacking, exploiting, or teamkilling to achieve victory. Perhaps most importantly, we hate whining. This leads us to our motto: Adapt or Die.

Our only request is that you keep your thoughts respectful, or your first post on the >mace< forums will likely be your last.

Potential >mace<ers
If you are interested in joining >mace<, make yourself known. Playing with >mace< in-game, posting on the forums, and being an all-around good guy/gal will take you far. After a few months, if you make it known that you want to join >mace<, you might be nominated for membership. Just remember…patience is most definitely a virtue when it comes to joining our community.
